eleven5eleven: Tiffany and Dave

I feel like I should preface this by telling you that the Business Partner decided I maybe went a little too big with the last few sets of photos. He has this thing about even lines and things looking “clean.” Apparently, my first few trial runs on the new format were neither even, nor clean enough for my fancy pants designer husband. So, he decided to go another direction. Lucky for him, I like his direction.

So, we’ll give this new stuff a shot with some photos of Tiffany and Dave. I started messaging back and forth with Tiffany a while back going over all the details. One of the big ones was our “where.” They wanted a bit of an urban feel since their last set was at a more natural/outdoorsy location. We settled on Pearl Street since it has a really nice rustic/urban feel. It was a little chilly, but we hit the ground running and covered a lot of ground in an hour. It was a great way to spend a Saturday morning.

Our Loves

It’s been a while since we shared photos of the loves of our lives. They are growing up oh-so fast and it’s a very bittersweet thing, as many of you know. The 4-year-old is so full of joy and happiness, she has such a lovely presence to her. She’s also got attitude and sass, but we like the little bit of edge she has. And our 2-year-old is a riot. She is so silly and has quite the sense of humor. She’s also got the attitude and sass (they get those traits from their father, btw), but hers is a bit of a different strain; she’s a yeller, and quite demanding to boot. Despite all the attitude they both possess (once again, that they got from their father), they get along really well and make us so happy.* Here are some of our girls from the last few months:

ten22eleven: Near and Dear…

These fine folks are all related to yours truly…lucky me (and lucky them, too…haha!). In this mix are my grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousins. I’ll let you figure out who is who.

We met them on a brisk  morning for some purdy Colorado outdoor shots. The weather was lovely, even if it was a tiny bit cold to start. No one was complaining…well, almost no one, coughGRANDPAcough. We had a super fun time posing them for some traditional family photos which they had not done all together in way too many years. Rest assured, we will never let them wait that long again.

ten16eleven: Family Fun

We met The ‘C’ Family at the Majestic View Nature Center in Arvada earlier this month. The weather went from perfect photography weather (i.e. lovely white clouds) to perfectly clear (i.e. not so perfect photography weather) right when we got started. It didn’t matter, though, because The C Family were total pros. We could have sworn they spent every weekend with obnoxious photographers in their faces snapping away. Ha!

Anyway, a big huge thank you to you all. It was a blast!

nine24eleven: the R Boys

Late last month, I was lucky enough to go spend some time with two incredibly photogenic little boys. You might recognize the big brother, we photographed him and his whole family last fall. For this session, it was all about the brothers big and little:

nine23eleven: Andrew & Emily are Married!

Emily and Andrew tied the knot at the United Church of Broomfield in a tradional ceremony that held deep roots in their religious beliefs as well as strong ties to family (the bride even wore her mother’s dress). The reception followed at the The Lionsgate Event Center in Lafayette.  Both the wedding and the reception were saturated with vibrant, eclectic details and cultural flair that were a perfect representation of the couple.

nine17eleven: Lisa & Ben are Married!

Lisa and Ben were married in a beautiful wedding that was part rustic mountain charm and another part refined style and class. The Chief Hosa Lodge was a perfect back drop for an equally perfect night.

nine4eleven: Kim & Brandon are Married!

Kim and Brandon tied the knot in an intimate ceremony officiated by the groom’s father up in the mountains at the Vail Cascade.  Their closest friends and family gathered from all over to celebrate this incredible couple. The entire to-do was every bit as lovely as it looks.

nine3eleven: Liz & Corey are Married!

Liz and Corey got hitched a few weeks back. It was quite the whirlwind par-tay and this lucky pair of photographers got to document it all. We started at The Curtis (which is awesome) where the bridal party was hanging out. From there, it was downtown for bridal party portraits, to The Tivoli for the ceremony, back downtown to The 1-Up for some brews and arcade games, and then it was back to The Tivoli for dinner, drinks and some sweet moves on the dance floor.
