Picture of the Day: Day 99, Blood, Sweat and Chalk
A couple of weekends ago, we headed out to the Denver Chalk Art Festival for at least the 3rd year in a row. The Business Partner’s day job is a big-time sponsor of the festival so it’s one of those things that we effortlessly get to become a part of since he had to be down there to photograph it anyway. (You might remember that he was on the DIA Southwest tarmac photographing the art a few weekends before the festival). Anyway, as usual it was astoundingly impressive and is something I very much look forward to every summer.
Here is one of my favorite images from the evening we were there:
I can’t imagine how much your back and knees and everything else hurt, sir. My back and knees and everything else hurt just looking at you. But, that is some amazing artwork there and I know I’m not the only one who appreciates and admires your incredible talent. Thank you for pouring you’re all onto slabs of concrete for us all to enjoy…
Here are a couple more:
Amazing stuff! I can’t wait to head back again next summer. Maybe they’ll have the fire dancer again…
Have a great weekend!
