three22eleven – Like Kids in a…Well, You Know
Let me just start by telling you that we had all of these lofty ideas in our mind for this particular session. We had planned everything out months prior since we had a pretty small window of time to work with since this fantastic family doesn’t actually live here in Colorado. They did live in Colorado up until last year when they moved (i.e. deserted us) to Missouri. They are a lot of fun and have tons of personality. We have been excited to photograph them since we got this whole business to-do started. Anyway, back to the lofty ideas. We were going to utilize all of the cool outdoor stuff that Olde Town Arvada has to offer. Rail road tracks and water towers and flour mills and farm equipment and…it was the perfect setting for a session involving two (well…technically three) boys. But alas, it was windy. And not just a little windy, either, it was horrible, freezing, heavy wind. It sucked. There was no photo-taking to be had in those conditions so we were forced to secure a backup location. And after we stepped foot in said backup location, I could have kissed the wind. I talked to Scrumptious earlier in the afternoon and they were more than happy to allow us to photograph in their store. We cannot thank them enough. The store was incredible. Every square inch of it was filled with super awesome stuff. If you live in the area (even if you’re not, it’s worth the trip), be sure to check it out. I can promise that you will not be disappointed.
Moving on…it’s photo time! (note: some of these are repeats from our facebook page.)

That is one of the few photos of Erin…we had no idea she was allergic to the camera!
Those two are hardcore, I tell you what.
Thank you, you super lovely friends! We had a blast. You and your adorable boys are the best. Safe travels back to that place you now call home.
